White Bellied Sea Eagle at Anushaktinagar Mumbai

  1. There must be a nest close by. The nest is usually the size of a bullock-cart made of tree branches of 1-2 inches thick. It generally leaves the nest in the morning and returns in the evening to its nest.
    Try to spot the tallest tree in hills and check thro' binoculars, if on the top-most branch of the tree, there is any huge bullock-cart size nest like structure on the side facing the sea/mangroves.
    When they are climbing down into the nest they move in circles to finally sit into the nest because of their large wings.Check for this kind of flying.
    They are best spotted where the river meets the sea.
